Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

You may use the App as a guest or create an account using your email address, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@freshwind.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your username will appear on public leaderboards. You may not use a username that is offensive, impersonates another person, or violates any third-party rights.

3. Free Tier & Advertising

The core App is free to download and play. Free-tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. On iOS, you will be asked for permission to use your advertising identifier for personalized ads; you can decline and still use the App. You may remove ads by subscribing to Bible Trivia Premium.

4. Bible Trivia Premium

Bible Trivia Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks ad-free gameplay and additional features. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms' billing terms.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time.
• We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods except where required by applicable law or app store policy.
• You may restore prior purchases at any time from the App's settings screen.

5. Hearts & Game Mechanics

The App uses a hearts (lives) system. Hearts regenerate over time or can be restored through premium features. We reserve the right to adjust game mechanics, XP values, tier thresholds, and other gameplay systems at any time without notice.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
• Attempt to cheat, manipulate leaderboard rankings, or exploit bugs or glitches.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users through any App feature, including usernames visible on leaderboards.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or other systems.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including trivia questions, artwork, audio, UI design, and software — is owned by or licensed to Fresh Wind Technologies. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our express written permission. Bible passages are sourced from public domain translations unless otherwise noted.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Trivia content is provided for entertainment and educational purposes; we make no claim to theological authority or doctrinal accuracy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fresh Wind Technologies and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
